Comments for Jam, The, All Mod Cons

This album is now available coupled with Sound Effects on an Ultradisc II audiophile disc. This may sound like a paradox for a band like the Jam, but boy is the sound great. What an awesome rhythm section! This is the only domestic version of All Mod Cons now available.

There are only a handfull of bands that I really miss after splitting up. The Jam is one of them. I grew up with their sound. This disc definitely defines their place.| Tim Kunze

"All Mod Cons" is the album that may best define the Jam, with Weller''s socially perspective lyrics matched to a powerful set of tunes. Be aware you should either get the remstered UK release or the Ultradisc, as the original US CD''s have poor sound.
