Comments for Jarre, Jean Michel, Equinoxe

"Equinoxe" is probably my favourite Jarre album. He weaves a continuous texture of music which you can listen to several times and still hear something new each time. Really inventive stuff.

Equinoxe is one of his best albums, probably THE best, with the only competitor being Chronologie.

This one develops in the direction of oxygene, going forward miles and miles adding new dimensions! I am not a fan of new age music but I have sort of soft spot for JMJ music, and I do like this one a lot.

I think Equinoxe has always been Jarre''s best work. I have been following his music since 1978, I was 15 at the time. I still have the original LP and single of Equinoxe and Part 5. Truly spectacular. I also love Oxygene and Chronologe, these three albums are his best work.
