Comments for Jarre, Jean Michel, In Concert Houston Lyon

E-MAIL: lansing@mindspring.com
Never actually owned this one, but judging from the songs on it, it should be fairly decent.
E-MAIL: WARNING!!! DON'T BUY THIS!!!
Do not buy "En Concert/In Concert - Houston-Lyon"!!! Instead, get the imported European version entitled "Cities In Concert - Houston Lyon". It contains 2 extra tracks not found on this ver.(Wooloomooloo, Equinoxe V), extra "audio snapshots" and 20+ more minutes of music. I don't know why, but more often than not music distributors in N. America usually end up shortchanging their target consumers in contrast to their overseas counterparts. Take for instance Mike Oldfield's "The Songs of Distant Earth" which was released in Europe in 1994. The much anticipated debut of the N.A. ver. did not take place until 2 years during the summer of 1996, even though Warner US(Reprise) had it copyrighted for the year 1995!!! Oldfield's much loved classic "Amarok" of 1990 did much better here in NA than in Europe, even though only available as a European import. That's not the way for NA distributors to run a business, if you ask me.
