Voted the best album of the 1980's by Melody Maker (leading UK music publication) staff. This album had an enormous influence on the UK independent scene over the 5 or so years after its release with countless bands attempting to copy its unique (for the time) sound.

To be honest, I feel that this is the finest album ever made. Three chords, layers of white noise, and sublime melodies galore. This is like the Beach Boys, Ronettes, and Shangri-Las through a nifty distortion/fuzz box. Simple, charming, brilliant...

"Psychocandy" is absolutely an extra appendage for me...the minute I heard "Just Like Honey" for the first time, I was hooked...this album is 1000 emotions at once. It''s what I listen to when I can''t sleep, in my sleep,when I''m fucking, after I''m fucking, before I''m fucking...well anyway, it''s a good album. Get it.
