Comments for Jordan, Jeremy, Try My Love

Jeremy Jordan is a great singer (said above but I'll say it again) and a person who overcame considerble odds to make something of himself (he grew up in rough part of Chicago and was faced with many hardships on his way to becoming a professional soul vocalist -I know, he's not the first, but it's noteworthy nonetheless). I hope he will get with some producers who give him a record that showcases his voice more than his body. Mike Walker, D.M.A.

Jeremy Jordan's album "Try my love" is a fantastic album, considering it is his first. It has some wicked tunes on it and soft sweet from the heart ballads. "Very touching". So far it is his only album, and a memorable one it IS. For Jeremy Jordan to be compared to Joey Lawerence is quite an insult to Jeremy! Quite frankly the guy can't sing or dance for that matter. The only single I can remember is "nothin my love can't fix". Well, Joey your love CAN'T fix your singing or dancing...that's for sure. "Loving On Hold", "Right kinda love" & "It's Alright" are excellent funky dance tunes. "Try my love" & "Do it to the music" are touching, intimate and HOT. Jeremy is presently pursuing his acting career, that is why there is a delay on his second album. He posed for Interview magazine and thinks it's about time everyone thinks of him as DON HENSON and not JEREMY. Good luck with your career and you will NEVER be forgotten!!

On Try My Love, Jeremy Jordan proves he has the pipes to match those pecs displayed so prominently on the CD's back cover. This guy demonstrates the potential for significant growth as a vocalist, provided he gets the some top-shelf producers to put his voice in the right settings. Why does a pop svengali like Babyface waste time with a bland soundalike like Jon B. when this kid is apparently (?) waiting in the wings to release album no. 2. Giant Records said Jeremy's follow-up disc was due out a year and a half ago - wazzup wit dat? I know he has a bit part in "Leaving Las Vegas" and did an afterschool special a while back, but methinks it's time to strike while the iron is still reasonably lukewarm. This kid's been out of commission a little too long.

Jeremy Jordan is a singer that the world needs to know about. His album is the only one that remains in my current playlist of albums. My friends who listen to the music sit in awe of the songs, and always ask whom is singing, when I say Jeremy Jordan, their jaw drops and they say, " Are you kidding?" I show them that it is true, and they stop comparing him to Joey immediately. Jeremy's second album is now due this kid has what he needs to succeed, and it's time to make it happen.

Jermey's singing ability puts me in awe!!! There hasn't been a week that's gone bye for the past three years in which I haven't listened to his CD at least once. The guy is incredible. Although he hasn't come out with an album in recent time, does anyone think that it could have something to do with financial problems?? Also, he was shot down by some of the most listened to critics of our generation Beavis and Butthead. Has his reputation got something to do with it?? One thing's for sure, the guy's got to get back into the swing of things and release another album!!

Jeremy is HOT! And Try My Love just adds to teh ehat. He is brilliant, and not a teeny-bopper star waiting to be forgotten.

I have no new info on Jeremy Jordan's recording career, other than that I heard he is close to signing a new record deal. But here are some movies that he's in that have been released on video recently: Live Nude Girls (1995 - really funny love scene here; he acts well); Bio-Dome (1996 Pauly Shore movie where Jordan has a small part as a college student); and the upcoming 1997 release Nowhere, where he plays a drug addict. He is also supposedly in a recently completed film called Young Men Dressed In Silver that was shown at some film festival and has been purchased for distribution rights. He's supposedly taking acting lessons in NYC now, but no word on recording. If anyone has any of this artist's videos on tape or articles and would be willing to share them or sell them, let me know. i grew up with don henson a.k.a jeremy jordan at an orphanage called mooseheart in aurora ,illinios his brother tony and sister gracie are my friends his mom died of cancer early 80,s and his dad was a truck driver state wide so he,s sort of an orphan but not totally. any way he got famous and took his sibblings out of the orphanage to good homes .tony went to live with a foot docter in aurora and went wo westhigh school in aurora with me a 7 year stretch of not seeing eachother i was only at moose heart for3 years but i visited don,tony,gracie, last i heard tony ran away and was living in the restroom of an abandond hardees restraunt in dixon il

I got his album at a used CD store in June 1998, and it immediately became my favorite album ever. I especially love the song "Try My Love", whose cheer-up lyrics and adlibs make me melt!!! His former manager Peter Schivarelli wrote that JJ has recorded a second album, but promotional issues halted its release, mainly because it was the time when public tastes were to grunge and there was no place at all for pop. I really wish I could get my hands on that one, even if it's a bootleg! Oh JJ, I should never forget you - I adore you!!!
