One of the fine examples of an underrated album. One of Cyndi's best. Check it out.

This album, though in my opinion her weakest efforts, showcases her incredible four-octave pipes. Certainly worth listening to. ctave pipes

Some tracks on here are weak (I`m a cat and Primitive) but some, especially towards its conclusion, are super. "I dont want to be your friend" is much overated and "Insecurious" is very catchy. The two `night' tracks, "A Night to Remember" and "My First Night Without You" feel like a 90mph rush down a moonlight street with the windows open - the songs are breathtaking and haul you away with them. "Heading West" adds another element and then of course there`s what some say her very best song, "I Drove All Night" a sweeping ballad in the style of the "night" songs of course! Not quite sure what "Kindred Spirit" and the albums opening piece are about though! A Classic album. "I Drove All Night" was the only top 40 single, making number seven. All succesive releases flopped.
