Comments for Lemonheads, The, Lick

Pop-punk''s finest 40 minutes. One killer, melodic tune after another, as only the Lemonheads can deliver. This was their last independent release, and perhaps their best one as well. LICK is known by most recent Lemonheads fans as being the record with the Suzzanne Vega cover on it. Somehow, the band puls off an utterly convincing take on her classic, "Luka." It''s the originals on this album however that really stand out. If there''s a better power punk song than "Ever," I''d sure like to hear it.
