Some of the best music that I have ever heard!

I listen to this CD nearly every day. Truly the greatest record of 1995. Annie Lennox is the singer of the century.

A Whiter Shade of Pale - amazing, touching, simply the best. Train in Vain - Great performance. Cold. I love it!

Trmendous album! No More I Love You's, Downtown Lights, A Whiter Shade of Pale and Something So Right are classics. Only Lennox could have made an album of cover songs and injected new life into it!! Excellent. But I did feel, that Medusa lacked some of the very personal, introspective touch that Diva (which is one of the best albums of all time) displayed. Does anyone know what she is doing next? E-mail me/

"No More I Love You's" is an amazing song and there are alot of other fine covers here as well like Bob Marley's "Waiting in Vain" and Procal Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale." The only song that doesn't work at all is her cover of The Clash's great "Train in Vain" which she slows down too much.

Simply put, one of the best albums of the Decade, if not the whole history of music! She is one of the few to make a cover album worth listening to! Annie gives each and every song a personal touch without ruining, overdoing, or completely changing the songs. I can't say which one I like the most; I love 'em all! I listen to this every day, and every one who I lent this to is a bonafide Annie fan. Bravo Annie!

A Whiter Shade of Pale... Besos.

May I please ask in what movie did "No More I Love You''s" appear/play? I loved the movie and I hear/listen to the tune every week. TNX, David "T"
This newest release from Annie Lennox is more than a collection of cover tunes.... Lennox takes each of the classic tracks and truly gives them her own feel and delivery. She claims the rationale behind track selection was "instinct", and it clearly shows, as each tune sounds written for her. Standout tracks are Neil Young`s "Don`t Let it Bring You Down", Bob Marley`s "Waiting in Vain", and the Clash`s "Train in Vain".
