A great debut album from a great band. If you get a chance to pick this album up, which is almost an impossibilty, GRAB IT! You definately won't be dissapointed. Misery Loves Company is one of my favorite tunes!

After a long search I finally found this one on CD as a Japanese import. I spent $45, but it is well worth it! I have to say it gives you a much better appreciation for Lillian Axe and where they have come from. No dissappoints on this one!

MCA certainly shot themselves in the foot when they let this band get away from them! Shame on you MCA!

This is one of the best debut albums in the last 15 years. If you love the Axe-- get a copy.

A very good, melodic hard rock album, I only wish the sound quality was better. Luckily, I bought the CD before it went out of print

I actually came across this CD the day after it was released. Needless to say, I've been a HUGE fan ever since. I must admit that I found the first half to be fairly standard, but once I hit "Misery Loves Company" the rest just blew me away. If you can find this one - grab it in a hurry.

This is a good work. You have to hear Nobody Knows to know how is the work in this album. And if you heard it, listen to it again and this time carefully.

Nothing tells the tale of a band like the debut album-- after the first listen you just knew they had the talent to make a Poetic Justice,etc--and make it to the top. MCA missed the boat. Lack of promotional support killed the potential of Lillian Axe and other up & comers around the same time (Lord Tracy, Manitoba's Wild Kingdom,Jetboy, etc.) Knowing that we are some of the few that have had a chance to see these guys play and/or collect their albums doesn't help much--they deserved more.

This is really a great album. After the band split up in Louisiana (1987-88), I was wondering what would ever happen. Well Stevie went out to California to start it up again and this is what it sounds like. I remember seeing them live many times at the Keg in Lafayette, and the songs from that time still kick ass today. I have a tape I made from one of the radio stations in Lafayette, with the old songs on it. I think it was made in 1986. The quality isn't the best, because of the station.

I had to go all the way to a used store in Philly to get this one (I'm from central Illinois). It's worth all the trouble, and more!

This isn't one of my favorite albums and I might be willing to sell it. Negotiate a price with me. The only outstanding track is Nobody Knows.

This one can still be had as an import from Japan. Check your favorite import store.

I remember hearing that album for the first time about 7 years ago and thinking who are the guys. The sound was and still is one of the greatest albums they put out today.

This is an awesome debut album. It isn't their best album but it definitely has some excellent tracks. If anyone has this on CD, original or import, and would like to sell it, please e-mail me!! I would pay just about anything to have this album on CD (I have the tape). Thanks! I hope Lillian Axe decides to reform... hard rock is slowly coming back and with the talent they have, they could go to the top!!
