Comments for Live, throwing copper

Throwing Copper ia a great album that demonstrates how much the band has matured since "Mental Jewelery." The songs hit you in all the right places. Guitarist Chad Taylor and bas- sist Pat Dahlheimer have a much tighter sound musically here. They complement each other well. Drummer Chad Taylor is once again explosive on this album. He is one of the most talented drummers/percussionists I've ever heard. Of course, live would be incomplete without Ed Kowalczyk. He lets his powerful voice shine through on this album. My favorite songs on TC are (in order): "pillar of Davidson" "iris" "i alone" "lightning crashes" made me cry when I heard and saw it live "white, discussion" "selling the drama" TC is a must have album. See them live if you can.

This album is one of the best! I love Live. My sister got the cd for Christmas, and I can't stop listening to it. I have the lyrics memorized to Lightning Crashes, I Alone, and Selling the Drama. They are my top 3. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Live has the talent to become one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. I've seen them in concert twice, and I'll see them for the third time soon. Their show is unbelievably powerful. All four members have incredible energy that shines through not only in concert, but on stage as well. My best wishes go to this band, I hope they continue their successes.

This is one great album! To those of you who've already experienced "Lightning Crashes", "Selling The Drama", and "Shit Towne", try giving a listen to "Top" and "All Over You". These two songs are often overlooked. They're really cool!

Live is a great band and is one of my favorite. This is a terrific album. My favorite song is "Lighting Crashes". It is great. I hope the band comes out with a new album soon.

Ah yes, I too love +LIVE+. I have been following these York boys for three years now and I grow to love and respect them more each day. Sadly, they have come to town three times and I have been out of state for everyone. I will see them before I die. My favorite song would have to be Pillar of Davidson on TC. (although I must admit I feel a certainly loyalty to MJ and have become partial to it.) Anyway, great band.

This album is simply the best of the year, no doubt about it.The best song must be this untitled thing, that is just great.

This album IS good, but better than Mental Jewelry??? I don't know, they both have their relative merits...MJ seemed geared more toward songwriting, where TC concentrated more on intensity. Not saying that one is better, but I prefer the songs on MJ.

I absolutely love this album! By favorites are: "White, Discussion," "Iris," "I Alone," and "Selling the Drama."

well, good news for me...i finally saw +live+ live and it was wonderful!!! (see four comments above this one) anyway, i just wanted to say that i've been getting some boots of theirs, and i don't recommend spending a lot of money on one entitled the slacker generation...the sound quality on half of it is terrible...if you get it for a bargain price it's worth it, but don't pay as much as i did!

Well again... I don't think I could rate which album is better... I think that you just have to put the two cds in your cd player and hit shuffle... you really can't tell the difference after awhile... as for me... i think there is only one song i dont like...at this point anyways.. and that would have to be "all over you" on TC.... although my favorite..and the one that i can best relate too is Top (TC). I guess if you don't believe in what we are all tellin' you little LiVe virgin's..(haven't gone to the concert) GO!!! While you have the chance... you will love it! see ya!

Live can be summed easily; cheap Stone Temple Pilot clones trying to cover REM songs. A horrid band and a horrid album.

Awesome Album. A word of advice; for maximum enjoyment and effect, play "I Alone" VERY VERY LOUD!!!!!!

LOVE +LIVE+!!!!!!!! They always put feeling in their music ex: Lightning Crashes, Pillar of Davidson, The Dam at Otter Creek Definatly the best album of 1994, and they are the best live act! Can not wait till 1996 (when thier next album will be out) LIVE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love theme, and they are definatly on of the top bands of '94.

Live not only clones Stone Temple Pilots, REM, and Pearl Jam, they are in fact clones of real men. They are all little girls from the Amish country pretending to have both talent and a male reproductive organ. Go back home to York, Pennsylvania and play for the Spring Square-Dancing Contest. Live is like a nagging headache that never goes away, but instead pierces the nerves in your skull for what seems like an eternity.

Live is probably the absolute best band ever and i think they deserve a lot of respect. I have MJ and TC and i recently got Secret Sahmadi and its great...I've seen them in concert four times and their energy is wonderful. I've memorized all the words to every song and the drum patterns to I alone, Lightning Crashes, and all over you...all in all *Live* is the best band EVER!!!!!!

This is their second album and it is great. Much betterthan the first.(See Mental Jewelry) Best tracks: lighting crashes, i alone, shit towne, white discussionAnd although some may say that Live need to sharpen their skills and musicianship, some of us like it a little raw and sloppy.
