I'll never forget the day I got a hold of my first copy of Thunder in the East. Weak tracks are not only non-existent, but this album blows away Van Halen, is more melodic than Yngwe Malmsteen (who sucks by the way), and makes American metal bands look immature and foolish. Loudness are like the planes that bombed Pearl Harbor. The Americans knew they were coming, but tried to ignore them. When they arrived, they kicked are asses, and there was nothing we could do about it!

Simply put, one of the most underrated releases of its time. This cd is one of the best 80''s metal offerings you can sink your teeth into. Blazing guitar work, the likes of which I have never heard ( Akira Takasaki), had a die hard Van Halen fan soon abandoning ship. The guitar work and songs on this cd are incredible. This cd is a must have for anyone who loves heavy metal 80''s style.... One of the best cd''s i own.....Eddie eat your heart out!!! mza
This album was released back in 1984 but still kicks major ass.Excellent hard rock album, without a weak track on it.
