Once again Madonna shows she's the worst singing human cube of the world.

Absolutely her most brilliant work to date. Pounding, intelligent dance euphoria!

This is definitely Madonna's most underrated album and it is certainly one of her best. I highly recommend this album that was lost in the SEX aftermath, which by the way was a very good book. Too many people took it seriously and it was not meant to be taken seriously, it was just like a movie, an act.

By far, Madonna's best album. Ranging from dance to ballads, "Erotica" contains Madonna's most diverse styles. The opening track, "Erotica" sets the dark and eerie mood of the rest of the album. "Bad Girl," a semi-autiobiographical number helps to further express the dark mood of the album. "Rain" and "In This Life" are two of Madonna's most beautiful ballads and "Deeper And Deeper" is up there with "Express Yourself." Run out and buy your copy today. Don't let the press make your record buying descisions for you!

The bottom of the barrel. Madonna simply tried to hard to shock. The lyrics "I''ll give you love/I''ll hit you like a truck/I''ll give you love/I''ll teach you how to...oohh!" from the title track are now laughable. "Hit you like a truck"? I would think even Madonna could come up with a more clever way to rhyme a reference to the F word. And the house/techno beats get old after a while, but not nearly as quick as her spoken word approach to lyrics, a la "Justify My Love." In "Justify," her speaking of the verses was very different and effective; considering she uses the same approach on SIX songs here, it merely becomes tiresome. The album is saved from total disaster by some cool tracks: her great remake of "Fever," the classic ballad "Rain," the ouch-that''s-funky "Waiting," and the pop-diva-meets-alternative-jazz track "Secret Garden." Unfortunately, four great tracks out of fourteen hardly qualifies for a worthwhile effort.
Like Madonna herself, most of Madonna`s albums suffer fromoverexposure. This one has escaped that gastly fate, and is actually quite good.Fever is a remake
