The duit song is my favorite on this album, its Moby's masterpiece.

I think I've only listened to this 3 times all the way (and I've had it for about 2 years). I couldn't get into the CD, I think it's too repetitive & too long (70+ min). I feel bad that I don't like his early stuff, but what can I say?

Moby, early underground, the real essential album by the Voodoo Child. Nobody understands it better to express emotions, feelings and thoughts. Early underground takes you on a journey into ecstatic moments, melancholic moods or just into happiness. Whenever I listen to the album I'm thinking: "I feel it, i feel it, yeeeaaahhh". Every single track has his own message. Moby's songs are not for the brain but for the heart! You may think some tracks are noisy or boring, but that shows that you did not listened to them with your heart. Only by feeling the way Moby felt while producing the songs you can understand them. In particular the warm analog sound of the tracks give me the slightly ecstatic moments. They all seem to have something to do with love. I just want to point out the great tracks "drug fits the face", "go", and "move the colors". So, listen what to do: go straight to the next record dealer, get yourself a copy and go home, lock the door, turn up the volume of your stereo set and FEEL IT! (if you already own the record, leave out the record dealer point and carry on with the 'lock the door' point) MOBY - HELP ME TO BELIEVE... :)

a fantastic dance CD, raw but divine. Track 8 especially.

This CD is very raw sounding, but it is a great insight into Moby''s early sounds. Sometimes sharp electro, sometimes soothing melody, this album is for those of you into rave style music. My only complaint is that many of the songs here are edited from the full length versions found on 12", which are far superior.
This is a compilation of early underground techno releasesby Moby, an excellent techno musician. It has a somewhatdifferent style than his subsequent releases, but this CDis a must-have for all Moby fans.
