You have to be patient with this album, and it's worth it...just a new kind of Moby...and still amazing.

I LOVE THIS CD!!!!!!!1 All critics who dont can piss off. this cd was WWWWWWAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY too underrated. its like saturnzreturn, thats how underrated it is. buy the 2xcd import, with the little idiot cd, it rocks. MOBY RULES!
Animal Rights represents a stylistic turning point for Moby. Going back to his roots, he has made an album consistingentirely of guitar/rock music. This may be scary to fans of his techno music, but give him a chance! It`s Moby, one of the most brilliant composers of the 1990s.Starting and ending with beautiful violin-accompanied instrumental pieces, Animal Rights will rock you like you`ve never been rocked before. I`m a techno fan myself, so it took me a little while to get over the shock to my system. And then I realized that every song on the album is worth playing over and over again. The songs on this album, performed intensely with heavy guitar riffs and Moby singing/shouting over them, are surprisingly catchy. I mean, I didn`t care much for rock music until I got this album. It`s easily worth the price. This is just my humble opinion, and that of many other Moby fans who areamazed that they like this non-techno album. You may disagree. But keep playing the album and it`ll grow on you until you cant keep the tunes out of your head, and will hunger for more. Some copies include a bonus disc of minimal "symphonic instrumental" music, called "Little Idiot".
