Comments for Mellencamp, John, Nothing Matters And What If It Did

Mellencamp didn`t really hit his stride until "Uh-huh" but this album contains two hit singles; ("This Time" and the wonderful "Ain`t Even Done With The Night") and contains another one of my favorites, the nostalgic ballad "To M.G."

I was always facinated in this set of tunes. I knew many years ago that this artist with his simple life rock lyrics and hard driving honest rock appoach was going to offer us so many outstanding musical effort. John if you ever read this...thank you for creating musical images true to our american roots... Brian
