Yeah, you're right! This is really one of the best metal albums ever recorded, which opened up some minds for the cool harmonich stuff as well (like in ORION or PUPPETS), adn it shows the writing and playing abilities of the band. And: ever read the lyrics? This is no TITTIES&BEER-Stuff.

Well! Bloody hell, this is good stuff! So many different variations show how versatile the band are, from the speed and intenseness of 'BATTERY', to the ultra mellow 'ORION', this album should be in every music collection.

You guys have said it all. There's no better thrash album in the world and never will. Title track has since remained my favourite song of all times (apart from The Beatles' songs, of course). But there's a lot more in it, you know.

All I've got to say is that cliff burton was metallica and orion and master of puppets are probably the most amazing pieces ever written in the history of music...no joke motherfucker. Metallica is the shit, And hopefully they can get themselves a new producer and maybe a new bassist and start rocking the house... TOAD. .

BLADY EXELLENT CD

Master of Puppets is THE BEST METAL ALBUM EVER MADE. It was the first metal album to invoke emotion thru music in me. It made me start playing guitar and I want to thank Kirk for being the guitarist he used to be, before he went to shit and made LOAD. Cliff Burton was lucky to die after such a great album. Unfortunate for the others, they have to die knowing they suck now.

This is the BIBLE ACCORDING TO THRASH METAL OF THE 80'S (next to SLAYER REIGN IN BLOOD that is). The first ten or twenty times I heard this album was on a third generation copy of a tape that had IRON MAIDEN on the flipside that I got from the High School burnout (you see at the time I thought IRON MAIDEN was as hard as it got (hey i was 17 and it was 1987, anybody remember POISON?)). Anyhow, Cliff Burton is THE MASTER, he taught those young pups the ropes back in the day. Anybody with fond memories of the thrash metal era (Metallica, Slayer, Death Angel) please E-mail me, I know yer out there.

Not quite as good as previous two albums, but it definetely kicks ass. Title track remains as one of my favorite songs. Definetely a breakthrough song. Saniterium, Leper Messiah, Battery, and Orion help make this one of the best metal albums.

this album, besides being one of the greatest ever,has such an amazing atmosphere to it-they knew they were great and they were just letting us know it...many have copied this but for one reason or another few have come anywhere close

This is the last album Cliff Buton takes part in. Between this album and "...and justice for all" Metallica`s great bassist Cliff Burton died in a traffic accident causing Metallica to open up a contest to get a new bassist. As you probably know Jason Newstead ended up as being the one.

this is a good album it isn't my favorite but it has my favorite song by them disposable heroes.i also enjoy the song leper messiah.time for lust time for lie time to kiss your life goodbye.what about damage inc.what a riff.sanitarium seemed like a ballad to michael myers from halloween.this is a good album
