This is the best album of METALLICA! I like it! My name is Richie Nesovas, I'm from Lithuania! Best wishes for all!
E-MAIL: smycro@iconz.co.nz
THE BEST album by Metallica, not only suitable for all metallers around the world, but has some lighter stuff too. Well composed and mixed songs, VERY professional and quality sound. METALLICA - THE METAL BAND
E-MAIL: apool@herbie.unl.edu
ok

To all metal and non-metal fans: You'll love this album. It is their best album. Enter Sandman is a must hear song.

I was in the Snake Pit. It`s amazing. I would be a metallica-fan 4-ever!!!! METALLICA ---> "Live `nd Purge"
E-MAIL: spro456@daphne.di.uoa.ariadne-t.gr
Yeah, right. If you want the true Metallica check out their older stuff, especially in their Cliff Burton years. This is cool but it seems that the ballads are a bit TOO mellow, and the metal stuff a bit TOO simple.Just wish that they won't start doing duets with Frank Sinatra and covering Village People songs.Nuff said.
E-MAIL: cmmetcalfe@dundee.ac.uk
I don't like it, It's not even in the same league as the earlier stuff. BRING BACK CLIFF !!!!!!!!!!
E-MAIL: ademertz@athena.auth.gr
SURELY NOT THE BEST!COULD BE IF "HOLIER THAN THOU","OF WOLF AND MAN" AND "NOTHING ELSE MATTERS" WERE MISSING.PERFECT PRODUCTION BY BOB ROCK.STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT CLIFF.JASON IS A PERFECT BASSIST.PUT THE BLAME ON LARS...
E-MAIL: ramlin@hoteui.uab.es
It sounds good, the songs are fine too... But when I listen Killīem all I canīt stay sit on a chair, and when I listen "The Unforgiven" I get sleep. What more can I say?
E-MAIL: kofif.ac.il
blame lars?!! no way man. lars's ok. the album's cool, but the ballads are just too long.
E-MAIL: alex.ronn@mail.swip.se
Wadda fuck should ya blame Lars???Heīs a viking from scandinavia like me...He IS great!!!!

I like the METALLICA-METALLICA album too, but my problem is that most of the even ten year old kids new Metallica just from this album and think that songs like "Nothing else matters" are that kind of stuff Metallica plays. They donīt even know the earlier albums. They donīt know what Metallica is about.
E-MAIL: n.d.bromley@durham.ac.uk
This album produces a mixed feeling among fans. Most critics love it, as do some of the fans. I agree that it is too commercial-little kids do think that 'NOTHING ELSE MATTERS' is good. It is damn fine, but they piss you off when they think all Metallica is like that. It's not my favourite, but it is still good. What will their new album be like, I wonder?
E-MAIL: uldiss@pid.bkc.lv
Yes, you're right. It's a shame that some people think of Metallica as "Nothing Else..." type of band. It's an excellent album, right after Master... I just wish they had not put this "Holier Than Thou". Sometimes I wonder why the same guys who have made "Enter Sandman" and the like, have decided to put such dull track in their album. Lithuaninan guy, WRITE TO ME!!! There are fans in Latvia, too!!!
E-MAIL: mhorne@cs1.presby.edu
This is a major step down in the life of Metallica. They are an awesome band, but the real stuff is w/ Cliff, but by coincidence only; nothing against Jason. I feel the same w/ people thinking this is the real Metallica. It is nowhere near.
E-MAIL: rotten@csd.uwm.edu
An excellent, often critized effort. Not a "sell-out" it is simply a more mature approach to heavy-meatal. As for Cliff, he's dead and he's not coming back. Deal with it. Don't compare this to the old stuff, instead just enjoy it for what it is: a classic effort.
E-MAIL: osborneb@msoe.edu
Well put. This album is indeed, a superior effort. Granted, it is quite commercial, which has positive and negative effects. I mean, for all these years, music critics and the majority of people would hear old Metallica songs like "Battery" and "One" and would immediately be scared off by the fast paced music and confrontational lyrics. They couldn't understand why they had so many fans. Now, Metallica is still confrontational and heavy, but not quite as fast, but now these people can see the true greatness of Metallica. After hearing this album, many people go back and listen to Metallica's old stuff and develope a new appreciation for it. As for the fair weather fans who jumped on the Metallica bandwagon with this album - to hell with them. As for Cliff, I think that we could get a voodoo priest or something that would resurrect him.

This is great!
E-MAIL: lodders@pi.net
Their best album with the best Rock Ballad ever made, "Nothing else matters".
E-MAIL: herbert.zach@telecom.at
It is a great album and playing live, they are great too!
E-MAIL: AGNEND86@SNYBUFAA.CS.SNYBUF.EDU
Much more commercial than previous efforts, but still a very satisfying listen. Solid.

First I thought this album should be called "Sad But True". But know I have heard Metallica "Load". Black album - please come back.
E-MAIL: Torpe@sortland.vgs.no
This is the best album ever written.
E-MAIL: melnik@hires.mps.ohio-state.edu
Throw "Nothing Else ..." out and I'll buy this CD!

a hell of a metal album, made by a hell of a metal band.
E-MAIL: grbillar64@aol.com
Are all you people kidding?!?!? This is the worst album (except Load of Shit) by the most overrated band ever. Kill' em all was good. Ride the Lightning was good. Master of Puppets was decent. After that it went downhill fast, just about the time Cliff died and they starting making videos. What angers me is that Metallica, specifically this album, is the public's perception of metal. If you want some real metal, check out Iron Maiden, Slayer, Sepultura before Chaos AD, Mercyful Fate, Benediction, old Megadeth, etc. This watered-down crap with simple solos hidden behind a wah petal and drums that only wish they were as Dave Lombardo's is more than any self-respecting metal fan should stand for. This is the epitome of commercialism.
E-MAIL: bjpetro@hotmail.com
this album was ok. i mean.....their old stuff is alot better when cliff was in the band. the songs are all too slow, they should ride something more like master of puppets or ride the lighning. the best song on this album is enter sandman. if cliff were still here, all their songs would be like their older stuff.
E-MAIL: TraneMonk@Aol.com
One of the top three Metallica Albums. It proves you don't have to play the same songs over and over again to kick ass. I love there old stuff too, but this is a natural progression. Some these songs are among the greatest Metal songs ever recorded. Namely, Holier Than Thou,My Friend of Misery, and The Struggle Within. Any person that says they sold out with this album, has never understood what Metallica was about in the first place.

When I`m ...,I say:"SO FUCKING WHAT!!!"These Guys Are The Best In Over The World, SAD BUT TRUE!!!
E-MAIL: Usuck2@hotmail.com
I liked this Metallica cd. It's not as good as there old stuff but it still kicks ass. I think everyone hates this cd cause it had 2 slow songs on Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters. But I like these songs and I like a few ballads. All the other songs on here are heavy and this cd is about 10 billion times heavier then Load and Reload.
