THIS WAS A VERY GOOD E.P. STRETCHING AS FAR AS BAND TRIBUTES ARE CONCERNED. IT'S ALSO A GOOD COVER ALBUM FOR METALLICA. THOUGH, METALLICA HAS DONE A FEW COVER TUNES AFTER THIS E.P. WAS RELEASED. ONES LIKE: BREADFAN, THE PRINCE AND KILLING TIME. EVEN THE INFAMOUS SO WHAT. BUT I BELIEVE THAT THE BEST TUNE ON THIS E.P. WOULD BE LAST CARESS/GREEN HELL.

The album rocks. But I don't have the original. I have the Garage Days with like 24 tracks, and most of them are demos. My personal favorite is.....well.....all of them! I only wish that their new album would be as heavy. But not with that wuss Bob Rock. And I quote my friend Kat "He is a F**KING faggot wuss who sucks big hairy toes!"

What can I say? It's my favorite Metallica album. Metallica is at their best when they're playing their favorite stuff from other bands. Also, the raw sound sure beats the hell out of anything ever recorded in a studio--it's very, very thrashing good. I agree that Helpless is the best track, but the others aren't too shabby, either.

This is the best album out of all of them as far as I'm concerned.

I think this EP is fuckin' great. The drums are very good recorded. Not as Justice. But guitar distortion is not very well. My favourite song is Last Caress.

if only they had gotten the same production for'...ajfa' as they got for this...second only (in terms of sound) to 'rtl'

Good "recorded in the basement on a 4-track" home-made sound. This EP is not nearly as "studio processed"as Metallica`s later efforts. Includes "Last Caress/Green Hell" which is a re-make of the Danzig tunes.(I believe this is Metallica`s only "cover" of another band`s tune found on one of their albums to date??)

If isn`t metallica it ain`t shit!!!...
