Comments for Art of Noise, Into Battle with The Art Of Noise

Not necessarily true: check used record shops, there are a number of excellent condition copies still available. Wizard Underground in Cincinnati, OH has at least two copies as of 5/95. Really though, aside from the original "Beat Box" mix, there is little of interest on the disc.
This is only available as a cassette and long since out of print. This has an early version of "Beat Box" which sounds a lot harder than Diversion 1 version. The picture on the tape cover has an old english illustration of knights on horses.

The Art Of Noise's first release is entertaining, but all the really essential stuff is on the "Daft" compilation anyway, so don't knock yourself out looking for this rarity. Nice to have if you do stumble across it, though.

this album holds a lot of memeories for me. probably isn't much you can't find on Daft, but the having it in the collection is nice. get the vynil copy so you can hold it in your hands and dream of the buggles and your own fairlightCMI. dr.farbin
