The Oils are one of the world`s great live bands. This album, although it doesn`t bring all the magic of one of their gigs to your stereo, does go someway to recreate the feeling, with Pete Garrett`s unique style between tracks also being recorded.Some of the greatest Oils tracks ever are featured on this album, with Powederworks, Progress, and Beds are Burning, the song that introduced them to us Brits, being my personal faves.With an hours worth of music on the album, its a real bargain, and for those who have the tape version, there`s an untitled extra track at the end.For any serious fans, this album is a must.
