Comments for Ministry, The Land of Rape and Honey

This is an incredible album. The hatred that flows out of your stereo will astound you. Flasback is especially intense, especially if you have been burned in relationships before.o

This is arguably the most deliberate, concerted attack on the sensibilities of even hard-core listeners since the Sex Pistols waxed off. The album *opens* with the ultimate fuck-you anthem, "Stigmata", and burrows even deeper (for me, the climax is "Golden Dawn", which feels like a soundtrack to the Last Movie Of All Time). Even the minor tracks have an ugly power that most full albums don't. Jourgensen went for complete broke with this record and scored. Indispensible.

This Ministry CD has had the most play with my friends and I. 'Golden Dawn' even spawned my local nickname, ANTi . Most definitely full of rage, disgust, and hate.
