Yeah i agree with you Cornell, The worst album of MC, there's only a couple a good songs on this one.

You guys are both wrong. This album is better than anything they've done since. "Girls, Girls, Girls" was complete crap. "Dr. Feelgood" was a good attempt at recapturing what made them famous but it still had a ton of filler on it. Then Vince left. While he is surely not the greatest vocalist out there - notice I didn't say singer - he was Motley Crue's voice. Nobody else can sing his songs like him, easy as they may be. It's equally sad that, now that they have him back, they've all lost their ability to write a good song. Remember, just because it has music doesn't automatically make it a good SONG. (See Nirvana, Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Marilyn Manson, etc...)

I agree that it wasn't a great album, but home sweet home and a couple other songs are awesome. true that vince is not a great singer, but only he can sing a crue song.

Yes, this album was disappointing because it is quite different from the Crue's first two releases. It's sound is more natural--not slickly-produced like "Shout." But after a few spins, this record can grow on you, largely due to its actually having some intelligent lyrics. Songs like "Fight for Your Rights" and "Use it or Lose It" have an important message, if you just take time to listen. The band went through some tough times between "Shout" and "Thearte," and the lessons learned are reflected on this album. Also, "Smokin' in the Boys Room" is a great cover.

MOTLEY CRUE IS THE GREATEST BAND TO HIT THIS EARTH! IF YOU HAVE BAD COMMENTS KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF!
Not a great album, but some good songs and hits
I like this album. Good solid glamrock.

No, I will NOT keep my negative comments to myself (asshole). This was a pretty big disappointment, considering the glory of Crue's first two releases. While not as weak as "Girls", "TOP" has too many lackluster moments to deem it anything beyond C+ rating.
