This album is hella better now than I thought it was when it first came out. Even though Cube was no longer with them, they asserted themselves fairly well. Dr. Dre's production is the BOMB, foreshadowing what he'd later do with Snoop, the Dogg Pound, and so many others. Of the rappers, M.C. Ren is the tightest of the three. Best tracks: "Real Niggers don't die," "Niggaz4life," "Always into something," "She swallowed it," and "The dayz of wayback" (Okay, I'm a sucker for Ohio Players samples!) If you dissed this when it first came out, listen to it again. It'll grow on you.
