Comments for Newsboys, Hell is for Wimps

I found that this album has been lost in the cracks. Due to this groups new form or style, not many people have known about the earlier works and actually how good they were. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet these fellows before they became "stars" in my little home town of Griffin, GA, and they were right on task with their ministry. If you have a few extra bucks, I'd suggest that you pick up this first release.

What a sad excuse for noise! This tape chews! I wouldn't take this crap if you gave it to me! "Hells for Wimps" What kind of a crapy name is that? Burn It! Burn it I say!

This is a good album, considering the fact that Steve Taylor wasn't involved in this project (actually, he didn't start co-producing their albums until 1992). It is the Newsboys second release. If you have some extra cash, run to the nearest Christian bookstore and buy it (even if the nearest Christian bookstore is 3,982 miles away)!

I haven't gotten the chance to listen to "Hell is for Wimps" but I hope to soon. Can anyone tell me if is as funny as "Boys will be Boyz"? By the way, "God's gift to women", I really think your language is inappropriate for a public message board!!

sheesh people...the boyz aren't like, here reading everything we say! anyway, Hell Is For Wimps...well, the Simple Man video is scary...no offense but Pete's hair made me scream...=:) the pink drums. hmm. need i say more? A very important early release for the Newsboys, featuringan edgy rock sound with simple pop influence. The albumwas not a big commercial success but helped establishthe band`s core fan base. A very underrated title.
