Comments for Nine Inch Nails, The Downward Spiral

E-MAIL: WHO CARES
I love Trent! The Downward Spiral is the album that first introduced me to industrial music! It kicks ass! My favorites are "Closer" and "The Becoming" I would recommend this album to everyone! Check it out! Trent is the closest thing to God on earth!

This album fucking rules! "A Warm Place" is such a beautiful song. This is the album that introduced me to industrial music. And NIN is industrial. Why wouldn't they be? Just because they are mainstream, doesn't mean that they aren't industrial. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes industrial music. Trent is a genius. That's why so many bands are compared to NIN. People say that bands like Gravity Kills are bad NIN wanna-bes, but then they say that NIN sucks. If they suck so much, why is everyone trying to copy them?

This is my favorite nine inch nails album. I never liked this type of music until I listened to the song "heresy." I just want to know who would give this album less than a 10 rating.

Does anyone have that Z100 NIN remix hour they played about five months ago over the radio on bootleg or something?

What makes this album even better (it is sooo well crafted. everything blends together so well) is that it actually tells a story. its the best.
The long-awaited full length album from Trent Reznor,a.k.a. Nine Inch Nails. Much more eclectic in style than _Pretty Hate Machine_ andthe _Broken EP_, _TDS_ is a good listen. Those afraid ofgetting _PHM_ II will rejoice. The CD packaging is unusual. The CD is stored ina CD-5 single jewel case (the really slim-line type), whichis then placed along with the booklet in a miniature box/sleeve. It`s the first time I`ve seen a domestic CD packagedlike this.
