Oh yes, at last I got her old album, and I think that is sooooo good. Its a unique piece of music, everybody with a bit interest in music should hear.

It`s a very pleasant album. More produced and common than the two others. But her tiny, beautiful voice leads the way, and the titlesong and "Soon after christmas" are pure excellence.

Although her later two albums are fantastic as albums, Memories Of A Colour has the distinction of having really solid songs. Each one is almost epic like, and really insightful on Stina's inner thoughts and dreams. The Return of Alan Bean is one of the cleverest songs around, Alone At Night is swathed in mystery and metaphore, A Walk In The Park is unnerving with all the vocal layering, Another Story Girl is beautiful and Soon After Christmas is just epic. Over all of this presides a jazzy production which is a joy to listen to. And of course, there's Stina's voice. 10 out of 10. Tim

Stina''s vocal genius is touching vulnerability entwined with a sharply observant intellect; always giving a performance of sheer, honest and lyrical emotion. Soon After Christmas - ''Memories of a colour'' - WILL make you cry if you''ve ever lived beyond your bedroom. She cannot be forgotten once experienced!! Buy all of her stuff and make Bjork redundant.
Although not as spacious or melodically intricate or interesting as her latest album, Stina Nordenstam`s first(released under the name Stina) is still a winner, especially the wistful piano ballad "Soon After Christmas".
