I saw them in Belfast on the day this album went in at Number One. It's fucking superb, and anybody who disagrees (while being perfectly entitled to their own opinion) must have a set of opinions so far up their backside that they never should see daylight.

Pretty good stuff. The whole album sounded pretty good to me. There are some tablatures for those guitar players out there on ftp.nevada.edu of Oasis music. I enjoy learning their songs.

The best group & the best LP of 90's. My favourite songs: Live Forever, Supersonic and Slide Away. I hope for your coming to Barcelona as soon as possible.

Sad song is the best track on the album, shame it's only on the vinyl version really. Oh yeah, all the lyrics are in the vinyl as well coz it's a gatefold double... lurvely!

Probably the best debut album ever. The amount of songs they could have released off it were ridiculous. God knows why they didn't release the anthemic 'Slide Away'.

Kick-ass album. Love the last four songs on the album, Rock 'n Roll Star, and Live Forever. Nice change from all the grunge and hard rock that has been released lately. Anyone who says they are the next Beatles, though,is doing more drugs than Noel Gallagher.

One of my favorite all-time albums. From the anthems 'Live Forever', 'Slide Away' to great rocking songs like 'Cigarrettes and Alcohol' and 'Supersonic' make this a must buy album. Definitely Maybe is simply a great pop album. Noel Gallagher is one of the most talented artists to come around in awhile.

These guys could not suck enough. Loser, pansy, drug addicted fools who can't play one song without taking a horribly obvious rip-off from the greatest songwriters in all of history. I could do that too. I am completely outraged by this worthless group of scum who dare call themselves musicians with a straight face. Does that arrogant wuss Noel know anything besides that one guitar riff? That and Liam's raspy, whiny, pre-pubescent voice are more annoying than an eighties hair band's guitar solo, and we all know how awful those were. The world will be a better place the sooner this absolutely vile band of underskilled and over- hyped fairies put down the instruments more valuable than their very lives and admit that they don't know a friggin' thing that they're doing. They owe their careers, lives, and souls, to the Beatles without exception.

I prefer "What's the Story" myself. PS. I hate "Slide Away"!

Oh, and by the way, why do Oasis fans feel that they have to swear?

Whatever your opinion of oasis may be, you can not deny the anthems LIVE FOREVER and SLIDE AWAY. They are forces to be reckoned with. They are, possibly the two best songs of oasis' brief career, and maybe even the best songs of the 90s (barring ONE from U2 and CRASHIN IN by the charlatans)FUCKIN MAD SONGS!!!!

No reason for the 'Maybe', Oasis are Absolutely awful - I agree with the few who have commented on how terrible this bunch of crettins really are. One of my friends is an Oasis fan and I keep trying to convince him that these are a group of impersonating Mancunian farts without any idea of how to reach the listener. Each of their so called songs is no more than a depressing snarl from that drug filled lead singer who rasps his way through unmemorable self indulgence - Oasis are and will always be complete dribble who will never live up to the Beatles.
