Comments for Orbital, Orbital 2

Better than Snivilisation.

The greatest album from the Orbital lads by far. The most primal of beats along with sounds that will lift you to new heights. Made a showing in the top ten albums from NME in 1994. Two versions exist, one has a bonus CD with peel sessions on it. The track Lush is an achievment.

I have to agree, while Snivilisation is a very fine album, it fails to raise the roof in the same way that this LP does. The way that Lush's 1&2, then Impact, then Remind run straight into one another (on the CD) is superb. I could listen to it for hours. What say the next album has the same kick as this one? Messrs Hartnoll and Hartnoll, the ball is in your court. By the way, for those who missed it, their performance at the'94 Glastonbury festival was BRILLIANT. Easily the best act who played there. Who said that techno can't be pulled off live?

They are Heroes of modern (non-academic) music. They amaze me all the time

Great album. The best of the best of the best. Tank you! I'm from Barcelona, and I'm a techno-dancer, and I go to Chill's Out. Really...

Right, if everybody says it''s so good (and it is!) why does it have such a bad rating??? Come forth, you negative punters, you got a lot of explaining to do!
Really nice blend of ambient and hard rhythm techno.
