What a stunning record!!!! From the raw energetic To Bring you my love, to the magnificant haunting The Dancer. A great CD!

Is there anything I can say? I lost my words. I don't know what to say, except perhaps that it's a strange, brilliant, hard-and-soft masterpiece. A piece of silk ripped in two...

I bought this album a month ago, and am STILL in awe of it. It's a powerful, moving, laborous journey toward the within. I take a seat on the emotional rollercoaster everytime I listen to "To Bring You My Love," and that's exactly as it should be.

This is definately a must have. "Down By The Water" is one of my favorite tracks. If you haven't heard this one, grab it.

Her voice, her words, pure love. She is the embodiement of a Goddess, what can one say about perfection? How can you dare touch the face of a true God? Polly has done it again, with grace, with her love and anger, and it does not surprise me one bit. It does, however, take my breath away like nothing else can. Our Polly Jean has grown up and ventured out into the world, as harsh as it may be. And she was hurt. And here she is.

It is rare when an album that you are really excited about delivers the goods. Every track on this album has its own unique personality. Bluesy, creepy, hostile, haunting just to name a few. If Island had really pushed this album and its single that never was--Long Snake Moan, Polly would be a household name. But then she wouldn't be ours anymore, right?

Lush soundscapes possess your soul. After joining Polly on her mysterious odyssey you emerge wounded, but transformed. Awe-inspiring.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
