Comments for A-Ha, Scoundrel Days

A-ha is a very good band, and their reputation should've been much better than it is. This album is maybe their best, and as usual on A-ha's albums; the best songs are those not released as singles. Listen e.g. to "Soft rains of April"!

Scoundrel Days may be their best album, but Soft rains is certainly not a good song.

Best songs: I've Been Losing You, Cry Wolf, Scoundrel Days, Manhattan Skyline and The Swing Of Things.

This is definitely one of their best efforts! Soft Rains of April is a beautiful song, but I think The Swing Of Things is far superior to it. It's a shame that American radio and MTV aren't more supportive of a-ha. They're the best group out there.

a-ha's 2nd album, shows how great this band was becoming with each album....better than the first very different style with each song...a-ha in transition!

The transition on "Manhattan Skyline" from lilting ballad to raw, gut-wrenching emotion is one of my favorite moments in music. This is their best album. P.S. Did anyone ever see the video for Manhattan Skyline, or hear the single version of the song? It was horribly edited - the line "You see things in the depths of my eyes that my love's run dry" was cut out of the song both times.

Simply the Best. On of those albums, you just puts in the player and sit back and listen to.....Over and over again

This is a very-special and super cool album. THE FIRST TIME I HEARD SCOUNDREL DAYS, WAS IN 1988. THE THEMES LIKE: SWING OF THINGS,SCOUNDREL DAYS, MAYBE-MAYBE, MANHATTAN SKY-LINE AND OCTOBER, SOUNDS PRETTY NICE. I´M VERY FANATIC OF A-HA, AND I´M WAITING FOR A NEW ALBUM. CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE?????? I´LL WAIT FOR YOUR ANSWER
