Comments for Bad Religion, No Control

"Definitly a punk rock classic. If you like the no-frills speed and intelegence of Suffer, you'll also love this one. One of the last great albums by these sell out MTV 'punks'"

If you like punk and you love speed, you'll love No Control! "Automatic Man" makes you want to slam.

Without a doubt, the best BR album. The opening trio songs will knock even the most passive of listeners. The songs "Billy" and "You" are absolute gems. Short, fast, and catchy...the winning formula!

Definitely one of BR's best. 'Big Bang' is the highlight in my humble opinion...

Current B.R. is lame, but that doesn't keep their old stuff from being pure punk-f***in-rawk... This, Suffer, and 80-85 deserve to go down in punk legend next to Circle Jerks and DOA...

No Control is definetly one of the best Bad Religion albumns out there.Mr.Brett and Greg Graffin's lyrics are unbeatable. The hard-hitting chords should send you to a different stratosphere.

This is probably the fastest BR to date. Great music, great lyrics, what else can be said? "You" is probably the best song on here. Actually, this might tie for best in my opinion with Generator. Great CD that never slows down (except for Sanity). The style of music to me sounds like it was made before Suffer, not as melodic.

Bad Religion is the raddest band around today. "No Control" is the best album that they have ever put out, in my opinion. I could listen to it for hours on end and still it gets me pumped. I could go on for hours, but I won't. Bye!

One of the best hardcore records of all time. The sheer speed and intelligence Bad Religion display on this album is unparalleled to any other hardcore album I've ever heard, save for the previous BR album, SUFFER. The band delivers lightning speed manifestos reagrding religion, government, existentialism, and reality in a way that no one else has before. Sadly, BR were never able to top this album, and probably never will.

Bad Religion is Highly OVERRATED!

Perhaps the most lyrically insightful album ever put out... it really succeeds where most punk fails... living up to the genre's pretension of cultural criticism.

Great album!
A great album for any Bad Religion fan, featuring the great"Automatic Man" and "Change Of Ideas"
This album was recorded in 1989 instead of 1988.

I believe this to be Bad Religion's best album ever. A very close second best would be "Against the Grain". This lyrically intelligent beast rocks from beginning to end and is their fastest album to date. The songs have amazing hooks that make you want to sing along. A minor complaint from some is that the drum beat virtually never changes, except for the song "Sanity", but I say Who cares? Buy Or Die!

This would go as 5-star rating album along with Suffer and a few different BR albums.
