If every great artist has their one "masterpiece" then Prince's may be "Purple Rain". The album works as one complete piece but also on an individual track by track basis. It also shows the various aspects of Prince's music to full effect, the religious inspiration of "Let's Go Crazy", the passionate ballad "Purple Rain", the dirty erotica of "Darling Nikki" (I bet Tipper Gore fingers herself listening to this...), pop such as "I Would Die 4 U" and brilliant instrumental arrangements all around.

Prince of one of the sexiest men to live. His music is beautiful. I feel that Purple Rain was an exceptional album. If your going to buy it make sure it''s the original. Otherwise you don''t get all of his songs. And the movie ROCKS!!
