Drums, drums and more drums. The way that PiL's "Second Edition" was all about the bass, Flowers is about drums. A spooky album, but spooky good, not spooky bad!

Certainly a severe album. Mostly screaming and drums with bits of other things only occasionally. Not really significant but kind of fascinating - mostly a curiosity item.

Flowers is a great album......really makes you just want to sit back back and listen to the awesome words, or get off your arse and go n a rampage.

the cover girl on flowers is lydons then girlfriend.
Recorded when John Lydon still was trying tofind a new musical approach after the death(?) of rockn roll. In a few years Lydon would give up and jointhe rock community but Flowers of Romance was and stillis a f--k you to the music establishment.
