Comments for Quichua Marka, Runa PachaWow, is this one great record! My wife and kids and friends love it. Comprising guitar, mandolin, various Peruvian-type wooden flutes, and bodaciously happy singing; very infectious, danceable music. Occasionally you can tell a performer was a having a really good time in the studio. Well that`s what obviously was going on during this recording session. These six guys were such crod pleasers at alocal arts fair that they were invited back for several years running. I just wish I understood Spanish so I`d know what they`re singing about!? Recorded in 1990 at Studio 88, Holland. Distributed by `CNR for the Benelux`. Go see Quichua Marka if possible and scoop up all copies of their music that you can. My copy (a cassette) is wearing out fast, and I can`t find a source for a replacement. Ah!DougSurf@aol.com "Runa Pacha" is the name of the group. I heard them in Europe years ago and with the current group in Florida at the annual strawberry festival in Plant City. Very enjoyable Andean music!ammylove@aol.com I saw you perform at the fair in West Palm Beach this week end. Do you do private events, like weddings. I loved your music.... Let me know. Thanks and good luck. Maria mambokng@localnet.com Miss you in Rochester New York!Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
