Comments for Baez, Joan, Come From the Shadows

The album is ridiculously dated, and the arrangements leave lots of room for imporvement, but i find myself coming back to listen to this one again and again. Joan's cover of The Partisan is simply beautiful.

This album was briefly in US release on CD, but is now COMPLETELY out of print. A&M should be urged to make this available on CD, once again, along with the rest of JB's largely out of print catalogue.

Of all the albums I have ever heard, this one touched me the most. I am unhappy that I cannot find this particular release on CD and hope that someone will reconsider. I still have the album but do not have the capability of even putting it on tape. However, the album was played so many times that I''m not sure it would record clearly anyway. Suggestions anyone?

Perhaps her most political album, though she still finds room for the confessional "Lovesong to a Stranger"
