Oops, forgot to add a comment when I entered in this new, awesome CD. :) This one should be the 'Chili Peppers' best. Their new single "Warped" is AWESOME! The release date on this album is September 13th. GO OUT AND BUY IT!! Also, this is their first album with their new guitarist David Navarro, from Jane's Addiction.

This is a great CD! Driving around town, sun shining, windows down, Walkabout on LOUD - well life could be alot worse. "Pea"just cracks me up every time - it will always remind me of the French Nuclear Test protesters. Some of the tracks are abit sad/disturbing..but that suits me fine sometimes. Go buy it!

At first listen, this album is tough. Where are all the funky riffs and lyrics? But after one gets past that "sell-out" train of thought, you can realize the great deal of effort that went into this album. Songs like Transcending never make the charts and that's fine with me.

No bad but could be better

I'm confused - I read an review of OHM & it mentioned a song "Bender" -not being one to remember song titles I went & checked & found that 2 songs mentioned in the review (bender & stretch...hmmm? left open there)aren't on my (Australian release) cd. Are these on the US release? Can anyone help me out of this confusion (at least this part).

It's hard to listen to the chili peppers talk about their problems. I used to put in their CD's and dance around in my underwear and now it really bums me out. Bring back John, he compliments Flea better and isn't flea basically the nucleus of the band? Jane's Addiction was a great band when they were together, but appart they are mediocre musicians from a proffesional standpoint. Kind of like the whole being worth more than the sum of the parts. Still a very good album though, but they need John back.

More grunge then funk...nevertheless still a great ablum. Drummer's better and Jane's Addication's Guitarist is good too. More variety in this ablum. Gotta go and check it out Look out for Walkabout and One Big Mob.

Awesome album - one of the best I've ever bought. "My Friends" is totally awesome, as is "Transcending" and "Aeroplane"... Worth the money you pay for it.

Yo! If ever there was a greater album, I'm not sure what it would be! This blows the competition not only out of the water, but into oblivion! Anthony is as cool as ever and it looks like they've perfected the art of rock music - Again! Two very ecstatic thumbs up the the Peppers for another job well done!

I''m sad to say that this band has really lost it. They used to be a fun party band, but now they believe they can be some serious musicians. Boring, boring, boring.
