A fitting tribute to one of the finest jazz guitarists of all time, Wes Montgomery. Ritenour intentionally mimics Wes''s playing style, using the fat part of the thumb to strike the strings of his guitar, producing the same mellow sound as Wes had. Some tunes are Wes compositions; others were written by Ritenour; and one tune was penned by reggae giant Bob Marley.
