Goats Head Soup features 3 great Stones ballads: Angie, Winter and Comin' Down Again.

Pretty good effort considering the amount of Heroin it took to produce the album!

Disregard what the critics say. This album is one of the Stones' best, including classics like:"Angie" "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo" "Winter" "Coming Down Again" "100 Years Ago" and "Star Star" The best track on the album, however, is "Dancing With Mr. D" Featuring one of Keith's best lick's and haunting Jagger vocals, this is one of the best Stones' tracks from the 70s'. It's a damn shame the Stones themselves don't do this gem on stage anymore.

The 3-guitar solo in "Star Star" is, for me, the ultimate in Chuck Berry-derived music. Sorry, but "Angie" has always made me cringe; it's no "Ruby Tuesday."

I heard this album from the airplane and it was great!!!! it made me feel even higher.

The perfect end for the trilogy ''Sticky fingers'', ''Exile on Main Street'' and this album itself. The best three records by the Stones. My favorite tracks are ''Doo doo doo doo doo'', ''Dancing with Mr. D'' and of course ''Star Star''. Great album.

Classic Stones at the peak of their creative power. Star Star of course was the euphemism that the recordcompany insisted on in place of Starfucker. Some thingsnever change, as Tom Petty and Alanis Morissette canattest about MTV.
