Comments for Roxy Music, For Your Pleasure

One of the greatest rock albums of the 70's, this one features Brian Eno on warped synthesizers and Bryan Ferry perfecting his lounge lizard ersatz-Sinatra image. Stuff to impress an impressionable 15-year old (as I was when I got hold of this in June '73) for Life.

This one focuses more on the instrumental side of the band than their debut, but it''s only slightly less entertaining. The influence of Eno is felt more here as well, and Ferry turns in some delightfully warped lyrics. "Do The Strand-sky!"
