My favorite album so far she is the best, especially in concert, her voice is so powerful, yet soft. I love her.

THIS IS CERTAINLY A DELUX OF AN ALBUM AND A RADICAL SHIFT FROM HER EARLIER STYLES. THE TUNES ARE VERY ORIGINAL AND NONCONFORMIST. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE VERSE CHORUS CHANGE CHORUS SONG. STANDOUT TREACKS ON THIS ONE ARE KISS OF LIFE CHEERISH THE DAY HOWEVER LIKE ALL HER PREVIOUS ALBUMS THERES STILL A REHASH OF OLD TUNES WHICH REMINDS ONE OF JEZEEBEL. BUT THIS IS A GOOD PARADE OF RANDB AFRICAN TUNES AND AS USUAL A PERFECT BLEND TOO. THE FIRST TRACK ON THE ALBUM IS TRULY A STANDARD AFRICAN SONG MISS ADU CAPTURES THE AFRICAN TALKING DRUM HERE AND EXPLOITS ITS USAGE TO THE MAXIMUM. IF YOU WANT TO TRAVELL ON A MUSICAL JOURNEY FROM WESTAFRICA TO LATIN AMERICA AND NEWYORK. THIS IS AN ALBUM THAT CAN DO IT FOR YOU.

Her best release by far. All tracks are outstanding, save for "Like a Tattoo" and "Pearls," which are sufficient enough, but after "Jezebel" and "I Never Thought I''d See the Day," a sparse, no-drums song at a turtle''s pace can only be done so many times. Still, "Cherish the Day" and "Kiss of Life" are Sade classics that will surely stand the test of time.
