Comments for Saga, Behaviour

In 1985, when Behaviour came out, I thought it was another misfire in the same vein as Heads or Tales (please, it's 'Tales,' not 'Tails.'). But now, about a decade later, I have to say that it is one of my favorite Saga releases. 'Listen to Your Heart' and 'Goodbye (Once Upon a Time)' are good tracks, and it is, overall, a more solid work than I gave it credit for back in 1985.

This is one of Saga's best works. "only you and the night" was voted one of the best "cruzin'" songs of '85 by Car Audio Mag.

With this album started IMO the degradation of quality in SAGA's music. Their songs became shorter, lost melody and improvisation, the things I loved. But there are still wonderful pieces in this album - "What do I know" and "You and the night", f.ex.

I agree with the previous comment: This is SAGA's second best performance. Excellent work by the band.

A 50/50 album. Excellent tracks (You and the Night, Stepping out of the shadows, Listen to Your Heart, Take a chance and Goodbye once upon a time) intermix with one note filler, programmed lowbrow pop. Excellent production and sound throughout, though.
Saga`s sixth studio album. In my opinion, this is their 2ndbest album.

I cry every time I play this record. In fact I cry most of the time when I hear Saga records or any old albums from the 1980s. Back then was life was easy and better. I had girlfriends. Hell, I had sex. Never figured that 15 years on I'd be alone in a crappy flat with nothing but a record collection and a lot of memories to see me through. Now the girls don't think my hair or my clothes look so hot. They say I looked like a silly old rocker. But nothing goes better with stretch denim than Canadian soft rock. Thanks for your comments, but I'd rather cry my way through what's left of my life than sell out.
