Comments for Santana, Shaman

Album #4 for the Santana band retains the heavy guitar effects of Santana III but the song arrangements are much more open for improvising; "Every Step Of The Way" is a tour de force for fans of Carlos` faster fret work. There are no "hits" on this album, but for band ensemble work, this may rank as one of the best "Latin-Jazz-Rock" fusion albums ever. Very underrated.
