Comments for Savatage, Handful of Rain

Originally not being a big Savatage fan, my attitude turned with the release of 'Handful of Rain'. Undoubtedly one of the best tapes i have heard besided "And Justice for All.." by Metallica. It is a shame that Cris died, but the replacement of Alex was quite smart. "Are life and death in Symmetry

A rocking album from the thrash of Taunting Cobras to the beautiful tribute to Criss Oliva. Although, I never had the chance to meet Criss (You don't know how bad I wish I could've), I'm sure he would be impressed. Awesome album, guys! Check out Doctor Butcher(w/ Jon Oliva) and the new Savatage album, Dead Winter Dead........Buy both.....there worth it!

Alone You Breathe is a song dedicated to Criss Oliva who died in a caraccident earlier this year. Alex Skolnick from Testament is the currentreplacement on guitar. Jon Oliva co-produced, played keyboards and isrumored to have done backing vocals on this album. It`s good to see Jonstill has a hand in this band`s existence.
