Comments for Saxon, Solid Ball of RockAn astonishing return form the band after the disappointment of the 1988 album "Destiny". A change in the bass player (Paul Johnson departs, Nibbs Carter arrive). The nes bassist inyects a powerful shot of aadrenalin to the music (the album is almost enterily composed by him). The songs are very powerful, especially "Altar of the Gods", "Solid Ball of Rock" and "Baptism of Fire". The whole album has a solid integrity and is quintaessential in a Saxon collection. Go out and buy it, in case you already haven`t done it.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
