Comments for Scorpions, Face The Heat

Alien Nation and Woman are simply awesome. The rest are marginal at best...

It was a real change for the Scorps, because this album is even harder than "Crazy World" and sounds fresh as their early albums...

Face The Heat is so much more heavy than the Scorpions last couple of albums. It reminds me very much of the style of Blackout. This album also show how the Scorpions can blend with a new style. This album show the debut of their new bassist, Ralph Rieckermann, who replaced long time bassist Francis Buchholz.

I'm a young Scorpion's fan (14 yrs. old) and believe it or not, I hate new music for the most part. My favorite album was CW. I don't really like this Album. It's not their style which I so luckily stumbled upon in their earlier albums. Except for maybe Alienation, Under the same sun, Unholy Alliance, and Lonely nights I really liked Nightmare avenue. I hope their next album is more like CW. I give this a 7.0 Ted Siraki

Another disappointment. The Scorps are growing old and you can hear it. Since 'love at first sting' Jabs has not played any good guitar solo anymore. It's like he has become lazy. There are some good songs on the album I like the old stuff much better.

SCORPIONS SUCKS. THIS IS THE ONLY HEAVY-METAL ALBUM OF THEM. "DEATH TO FALSE METAL" HEAVY METAL MANIACS

We love the Scorps. Yes, they have been around for a long time but they STILL KICK ASS! We saw them 3 time on their FACE THE HEAT tour & Each time was like the first. SCORPS RULE (AGE 27)

These HEAVY METAL MANIACS are mental midgets. The scorps are not intended to be a heavy metal band, although many of their songs are heavier and guitar-driven; they are simply a rock band that in talent alone blows away all that HEAVY METAL noise and racket, that those idiots listen to!

This is their best album yet!! It Rules! It combines some acoustic songs with heavy metal and sounds pretty good. i'd give it an 11.

FTH kicks butt.

This album is pretty average. Alien Nation and Under the Same Sun are super, though the backing vocals on Under aren't too great! Many songs are THE PITS (eg. Nightmare Avenue, Unholy alliance [a boring social song], Someone to Touch, and - especially - !#@@Woman.) Frankly, the bonus trax are 50-50. Destin is not bad at all but 'Daddy's Girl' - yawn! Haven't we heard Micky Jackson doing the same thing? And they don't need to repeat the same verses 50 times - we get the point, Klaus! Rating (out of ten) = 6.9

I thought this was one of their bests! Very heavy at times. Two excellent rock ballads

I think this album is really good and although it maybe slightly heavier in places its still The Scorpions and at least they didn't jump on the band wagon like Dokken and Queensryche.I've been mad about this band since 1988 and I still love and play them now on a regular basis(reviewed 12/05/04).
