Comments for Seefeel, Starethrough EP

an important turning point between their earlier, warmer material (_quique_, _pure, impure_, etc) and the reduced, colder asthmatic rhythm-clank of their later material. a couple of the tracks are good-not-great, but the highlight is "starethrough" itself - a slowly developing, mournful vocal that is almost indistinguishable from the haze of processed guitar, both floating around each other over the lurching, dub-heavy bassline and drums. very emotional, very pretty, essential. [grievous]

Ambient, ambient, ambient! Beautiful textures not forlistening to but for feeling.
