Comments for Severed Heads, Retread

Certainly the best industrial (?) band from Australia, this album compiles some of their more recent non-hits. Criticised for being neither commercial nor alternative, Severed Heads first came to my attention through a three second snippet on early eighties cult show Max Headroom. The track, Propellor, started me on an obsessive search for their entire back catalogue. I''ve only ever met two other people who have even heard of them. Fantastic for those of us who like to think we''re musical elitists.
