The second release from Plumsteads pop princesses can only be described as a mixture of rock and Bubble Gum pop. Jacqui & Carrie hide behind their dark shades and their outrages fashion statements to bring us ‘Shampoo or nothing’ an infectious mix of highly energetic vocals and screeching guitars. This album is designed to make you feel better and have you singing along in no time. Shampoo are no stranger when it comes to fun pop anthems (these are the girls that brought us ‘Trouble’ in 1994) and show this in songs like ‘Girl Power’ and ‘Don’t call me babe’. Other stand out tracks includes ‘Bare knuckle girl’, ‘War Paint’ and ‘Boys are us’. One things for sure, there’s not a dull moment on this album.

Released in Japan under this title. It was released later in the U.K. as GIRL POWER. Contains a remake of "I Know What Boys Like" and "Don`t Call Me Babe" which was used in the film, BARB WIRE with Pamela Anderson Lee.
