The man above says how nice it is to hear what Shel sounded like in her early years ... Maybe he''ll be surprised to hear that the tape wasn''t mastered at the right speed, so I kinda wonder if Michelle''s ever sounded this way !!

Recorded live and informally at a folk festival on aWalkman before Shel was "famous". You can hear cricketschirping and cars driving by, and the sound quality isn`tthe best, but it`s interesting to hear how Shel soundedearly in her career - several of these songs were reworkedand released on later albums. She got no money from thisalbum, and refers to it as "The Texas Camfire Thefts".

My god is this album good. Reminds me of my good friend Kristie Sessions!
