Michelle Shocked''s album contains one of the best nothing''s-gonna-stop-me songs of all time in "Come a Long Way," not to mention the most effective song about abortion with "Prodigal Daughter."

An excellent album combining Country, Folk, Rock and Irishinfluences. Michelle`s vocals are very clear allowing theinteresting lyrics to be appreciated. Lots of guest artistsincluding the Hothouse Flowers. Hand written cover notes are hard to read but interesting.
